DreamView™ Tapped by Bleacher Report for The Portal, an All-New Animated Comedy Series Featuring NBA Greats

SAN FRANCISCO — NOVEMBER 03, 2021 — Bleacher Report, the leading sports media brand reaching a generation of hyper-connected young sports fans, has teamed up with DreamView™, a globally scalable creative strategy and content solutions company creating disruptive technology for global social change, for an all-new animated comedy series called The Portal that aims to answer the age-old debate of ‘who is the greatest of all-time.’

During the series, Bleacher Report and DreamView will bring the greatest NBA stars of today and legends of the past to life through cutting edge 3D animation and innovative storytelling for a one-on-one competition in fully rendered arenas featuring cinematic camera angles and lighting for a TV broadcast look and feel. Current NBA stars featured in the series include Kevin Durant, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Kyrie Irving. The four-episode series tips off with KD versus Larry Bird on the Bleacher Report (B/R) app November 3.

Although the series is meant to entertain and amuse audiences, DreamView animators reviewed hours of player game footage to study and replicate the movements and shooting styles of each of the player’s featured for a truly authentic animation experience.
